<p style="text-align: center;">The first innovative Cross-Community Leadership Committee was comprised of more than twenty social workers, religious-figures, teachers and others, from the Armenian, Ethiopian, Religious, Secular, Muslim, Christian, and other sectors.   The meetings serve as a thrilling platform of discussion and sharing, as we move from our visions for Jerusalem, to more practical discussions on specific urban issues for the improvement of the life-conditions of all of Jerusalem&#8217;s residents.</p>

<li>Cross-Cultural Committees: Communities Developing Jerusalem</li>

<p>The Jerusalem Communities  Network provides quality courses for youth and adults  upon evaluation of community needs,  in some of the following fields:</p>
<p>All courses are based on the Nonviolent Communication Methodology (Marshal Rosenberg&#8217;s) , for the training of youth and adults in inter-personal communication skills that will resonate respect of one&#8217;s own tradition, respect for all traditions, and team-work. The Nonviolent Communication skills will be adapted to the different fields of practice such as business empowerment and communication skills, media and communication skills etc.</p>
<p><strong>Business Mentorship</strong></p>
<p>For selling traditional merchandise such as foods, embroidery, oils, cosmetics, furniture, ceramics, paintings and more&#8230;</p>
<p><strong>Neighborhood Development and Affiliation</strong></p>
<p><strong>Craft-making- preservation of traditional crafts</strong></p>
<p><strong>Media and Pluralism Course for youth</strong></p>
<p><strong>Intercommunity-Mediation for adults</strong></p>
<p>These courses will encourage communities to improve their own life-conditions and to proudly present their unique cultural assets to the general public.</p>
<p>Each course will result in setting up a different section of the annual Mosaic Crafts &amp; Communities Fair.</p>
